Internet Friends/Chat Friends
Making friends has suddenly become easier. Thanks to the world wide web, we are making friends faster than we could have thought! Gone are the days of writing long letters, which was tedious and took a lot of time. Nowadays, there are lot of options available when you want to make friends. Internet or chat friend is one of them.
We have various chat options available today in Yahoo, Google, Orkut etc., and they have simplified the art of making friendship. We simply have to register our names in these sites and get connected with people around the world! We might not be knowing whom we are chatting with, because we tend to conceal our identities. This is very interesting, because we assume an imaginary name and personality, and chat with people around the world. Some of these net friends go on to become the best of our friends in the future.
There have been cases where online friends have met and become life partners, or fallen in love with each other. The expectation in online friendship is high, because we cannot see our friends and go on to create an imaginary picture of them in our minds. However, a certain amount of caution should be exercised when revealing identities to strangers. Since we do not know anything about the true identity of our chat friends, it is better not to disclose personal details. Nowadays, people post pictures, photos, and videos along with writing, so making friends has become more interesting than before.

You can actually see your friends and post great videos like birthday, friendship, graduation, valentines day etc. You can even talk to your friends who reside in the other part of the world!
